Program Description
The Civic Engagement For 50+ Immigrants And Refugees Program is appropriate for ethnic-based community organizations and any other agencies that would like to focus on increasing community involvement or volunteers.
Some of the goals of the Civic Engagement For 50+ Immigrants And Refugees Program is to:
-Appreciate the uniquene experiences of foreign-born seniors
-Create senior volunteer opportunities
-Engage and support foreign-born elders so that they are confident in taking on civic roles in their communities.
