Program Description
The "New Jersey Safe Senior Housing and Transportation" Program gives priority to elderly living alone in high crime areas.
The purpose of the The "New Jersey Safe Senior Housing and Transportation" Program is to foster a safe environment for seniors by providing home repair services, home safety improvements, and escorted senior transportation services.
Home repairs and minor home modifications for seniors are can drastically prevent falls which are dangerous to senior health and elderly safety.
Escorted transportation helps elderly continue to live independent lives and age in place by providing access to their community and supportive services.
The "New Jersey Safe Senior Housing and Transportation" Program is administered through the Area Agencies on Aging.

ElderProofHome.com Gift Card Program - Available online. Gift card for seniors to make home repairs and modifications that they may need, but may be hesitant to pay for by themselves.
