"Seniors First BC is the only non-profit organization in Western Canada offering a mix of legal psycho-social and justice based supports to older adults."

Elder abuse assistance can be provided over the phone and seniors and other callers may remain anonymous.
The Seniors First BC Victims Services Program provides the following support services to elderly victims:
- Information about the justice system pertaining to matters of elder abuse.
- Assistance telling police doctors or other professionals about what kind of elder abuse occurred.
- Preparation and support for older adults who will be testifying in court about elder abuse or another crime.
- Information about peace bonds and restraining orders.
- Assisted referral to another social program.
- A non-judgmental listening ear for older adults who are deciding whether or not to report elder abuse to the police.
- Other kinds of practical and emotional support.
- Works collaboratively with other local and provincial victim services programs .
- Raises awareness about elder abuse and crimes against older adults.

BC Centre for Elder & Advocacy Legal Advocacy Program A trained legal advocate who is a paralegal provides legal information to those who call the Seniors Advocacy & Information Line. Advocates also provide legal representation to older adults with problems related to access to safe housing, access to government benefits and pensions and elder abuse.
BC Centre for Elder & Advocacy Elder Law Clinic Program Provides free legal services to seniors/older adults age 55+.
BC Centre for Elder & Advocacy Education & Outreach Programs Elder advocacy, elder abuse prevention education and workshops delivered by staff, and through senior peer-to-peer workshops.
