Program Description
"'Seniors Dreams' improves the quality of life for seniors and enlists the help of the community to provide special opportunities to seniors who have worked hard to build our communities. In these difficult financial times there are many seniors who lack the funds to make even their simplest dreams come true. Simple things – like a visit to the hair salon or fishing trip – can be impossible for many seniors. A trip to visit a loved one or a special friend is only a dream for many."

The “Senior Dreams” Program is a make a wish program for seniors, granting tailored dreams and wishes fulfill anything from basic needs to life long dreams.
“Senior Dreams” staff, volunteers and the community work together with individual and corporate sponsors to help seniors fulfill their dreams.
Seniors can but do not have to be living in a nursing home or assisted living facility in order to have a wish granted.
Third party’s who know of a senior that could use a little help can submit an application at the senior dreams website.
Examples of gifts for seniors, and dreams and wishes granted for seniors include something necessary such as free dental work or a free wheelchair to more simple senior requests such as a visit to the hair salon a fishing trip, or a trip to visit a family member or a friend, a meal at a favorite restaurant or a day at the lake.

Twilight Wish Program - Across the United States. To honor and enrich the lives of elderly living in nursing homes by granting senior dreams through a make a wish type model. To help make dreams come true for those seniors in nursing homes who do not have the ability on their own to do the types of activities they would like to do.
Intergenerational Education Wish Granting Initiative -Across the United States. Intergenerational wish program where students interact with seniors throughout the process by meeting and learning what senior's wishes are, organizing fundraising to help purchase senior dreams and finally present wishes to seniors.
Seniors Have Dreams Too Program - Wallingford, CT, USA. A make a wish program that grants wishes to seniors living on limited, low incomes (at or below the current federal government poverty level.
