The "California Home for the Adult Deaf" home is a 24-bed residential facility with full meals and medical assistance.
The importance of seniors being able to communicate in sign language is paramount as opposed to being in a regular board and care where they would be unable to communicate with staff and other residents and not be able to participate in activities.
