WHAT A safe site for seniors and other individuals to safely dispose of expired, unwanted and unused prescription drugs.
WHYTo prevent the abuse of prescription drugs which are obtained from seniors, family, friends, and taken from home medicine cabinets. To provide as safe place to dispose of accumulated, unwanted, unused prescription drugs.

Program Description


"The amount of prescription drugs turned in by the American public during the first two Take-Back events is simply staggering—309 tons—and represents a clear need for a convenient way to rid homes of unwanted or expired prescription drugs."

The "National Prescription Drug Take Back Day" Program allows seniors and others to turn in medications for safe disposal no questions asked. The program has reduced prescription drug diversion and abuse and increased awareness of the need to safely dispose of presciption drugs.

The "National Prescription Drug Take Back Day" Program reduces the amount of prescription drugs being dumped down the toilet and therefore from entering the water supply which can  adversely effect humans and marine life.
