Program Description
Training is available to hospice or palliative care providers, social workers, bereavement counselors, chaplains or other professionals who support patients and their families when a terminal diagnosis is given or at the end of life.
Clergy and faith leaders can increase understanding end of life care issues and assist members of their congregations who are facing an end-of-life medical crisis.

The "Hospice Foundation of America" provides end of life care for professionals, patients and families. The foundation's goal is to provide leadership in the development and application of hospice and its philosophy of care with the goal of enhancing the U.S. health care system and the role of hospice within it.
