In addition to providing seniors with free or discounted food for their pets and pet adoption assistance Volunteers of America Greater Los Angeles also provides affordable senior housing as an alternative to institutional if possible. In addition VOALA offers senior veterans housing referrals, benefits advocacy, three meals a day, physical and mental health evaluations, transportation, and recreational activities through the VS-65 Senior Veterans program.
