Program Description
“…teaching artists guide older adults 50+ through a nine-week program. Through the creative process, participants create new plays inspired by each other’s life experiences. This virtual event presents their works-in-progress, performed by Butterfly Effect Theatre of Colorado professional actors.”

Playwriting classes for seniors cover:
- Basic building blocks of scriptwriting
- In-class writing exercises
- An intergenerational interview with a classmate
- Create a short play inspired by a classmate’s life experiences
Classes may be held in partnership with local senior centers.
