Program Description
“Our goal is to enable older adults, living at home and with challenges affecting dog care, to continue to benefit from their relationship with their canine companions.”

ElderDog serves older adults who may face health, mobility or financial challenges.
ElderDog provides seniors with free help to take care of their dogs.
Volunteers help the elderly by providing support with the following during home visits:
- Assistance with dog walking.
- Assistance with delivering or picking up dog food and feeding.
- Assistance with animal hygiene and minor grooming.
- Transportation to and from veterinarian or groomer.
- Temporary care during hospitalization.
