Program Description
Each annual Senior Living Art Showcase has a theme and senior artists range from beginners to seasoned artists.
Senior residents of assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities submit art in the form of watercolors, sculptures, photographs, quilts, jewelry, woodcarvings, drawings, paintings, digital pictures and other artwork created through other medias.
The winners of the 'ALFA Senior Living Art Showcase' will have their art recognized on the ALFA’s website and at the ALFA Conference & Expo.
The Assisted Living Federation of America is an organization, which advocates for senior living communities, seniors and their families.
Some of ALFA’s other programs include: The ALFA Senior Living By Design Awards which honor architects, design firms, and senior living providers who incorporate senior friendly and innovative architecture in senior living communities, The ALFA Best of the Best Awards which recognize innovative new programs and services that are creating the future of senior living, Annual Advocacy Day between ALFA member companies and US Members of Congress, ALFA Heroes on the Hill Day and the Assisted Living Executive Magazine.
