HONORING OUR PRECIOUS ELDERS - FREE YARD WORK FOR SENIORS
Founder - Hen Truong.
Oregon, USA.
Program Description
“Whereas other agencies exist to provide services such as housing, food, and home health care to elders, H.O.P.E. recognizes that elders may also suffer from social isolation. Our unique mission is to build and nurture relationships while also providing much-needed yard and outdoor services.”
“Conversing with others is key to a healthy life. By offering free yard care and outdoor home services, my goal is to provide aging-in-place seniors with a sense that they are valued and that they belong within a community. Please join me, and let’s make their golden years truly golden.”

Honoring Our Precious Elders provides the following free landscaping help and lawn care services for seniors:
- Mow lawns, edges, remove limbs and debris from lawn areas, and blow or sweep grass clippings from curbs, walks, driveways, and patios.
- Rake leaves and clear walkways for senior safety.
- Prune shrubs, bushes, and small trees to clear views from windows and to clear walkways.
Snow shoveling, gutter cleaning, and power washing are also available to ensure that older adults are able to safely navigate and enjoy their yard.
Honoring Our Precious Elders aims to serve older adults who are on fixed incomes, have mobility issues, cognitive impairments, or are recovering from a hospital stay.
Anyone wishing to help the elderly with free landscaping help can do so by making a donation to the organization. Honoring Our Precious Elders is looking for yard clean up volunteers and donations including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, weed wackers, power washers, hand tools, wood chippers, gloves, ladders and other landscaping tools.
