Program Description
“Memory Care is for people with memory issues that affect their everyday life, and their loved ones. It teaches memory techniques and strategies to lower stress and stimulate the mind and the body, while providing support for caregivers. This innovative approach to memory loss assists middle-aged people with memory challenges and their loved ones who care for them.”

Memory care and training classes include:
- Techniques to boost memory performance.
- Concentration and attention.
- Memory for events, to-do lists, errands, appointments, faces and names.
- Word-finding.
- Physical health, diet, nutrition and memory.
- Mind-Body Connection and memory - yoga, tai chi, art and music therapy.
- Social Support for family members and caregivers.
- Memory Boot Camp and Brain Boosters.
A tailored one on one program is available which provides individuals with memory loss a customized plan for better memory and brain health.
In addition to memory education, training and classes, The UCLA Longevity Center conducts aging related research in the areas of memory, the brain, depression and Alzheimer's disease.
