"MEET ME AT MOMA - MUSEUM OF MODERN ART" PROGRAM
Program Description
Specially trained art museum educators highlight themes, artists, and exhibitions during an interactive program in the art museum's galleries and classrooms providing an expressive outlet and a forum for dialogue for those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia and their caregivers.
The “Meet Me At MOMA - Museum Of Modern Art" Program is one of the first museums in the United States to offer dementia and art programs to make its collection and special exhibitions accessible to those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, their caregivers, families, adult day care faciliites, residential senior living, or nursing care faciliites.
