"COMPASS FOR CAREGIVERS - BANNER ALZHEIMER'S INSTITUTE" PROGRAM
Program Description
The "COMPASS for Caregivers" Program teaches caregivers to those with Alzheimer's and other dementia about:
-Diseases associated with changes in memory and thinking
-Current treatments, strategies, resources that can help meet the ever-changing needs of a loved one
-Improved communication skills to avoid arguments and behavior upsets Improving daily living
-Finding in-home and community help
The "COMPASS for Caregivers" Program's aim is to assist caregivers who feel unprepared or overwhelmed with their caregiving role by providing information and support.
