Program Description
The " Alzheimer's Association - Approaching Alzheimer's for First Responders Training"Program curriculum trains first responders on how to respond to:
-Alzheimer's Wandering
-Alzheimer's Driving, Firearms, Shoplifting
-Alzheimer's Abuse and Neglect
-Alzheimer's Disaster Response
The "Guide for First Responders" is a four-page booklet with an overview of topics covered in the training.
"Tip Cards for First Responders" cover Wandering, Driving, Abuse & Neglect and Disaster Response and have the emergency phone number for MedicAlert and the Alzheimer's Association Safe Return program.
A DVD, "Approaching Alzheimer's" is also available to train first responders.
