"Our mission at Sephardic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Short-term care unit is to provide our residents with the tools needed to relearn the skills required to get them back to their lives and able to re-enter their communities."

The goal of short-term rehabilitation is to provide seniors with appropriate rehabilitation and increase their recovery time. Senior residents are provided with complementary television sets, telephone services and Internet.
Long-term care is also available providing nursing care, medical staff, home-cooked meals and nursing home activities. Three home-cooked meals are served daily and senior residents are able to take advantage of regular activities and events at the Sephardic.
The “Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center” also offers specialized programs developed for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. Special memory care units offer 7 day-a-week programs including evenings. Memory care staff is trained by the Alzheimer’s Association in dementia programs that include sensory stimulation, reality orientation, modified crafts, music, games and fitness.
Shabbat is held with the traditional candle-lighting. Senior residents and families attend special holiday services in accordance with Halachic traditions of both the Sephardic and Askhenasi cultures.
