Program Description

“Our goal is to install wheelchair ramps in all 50 states. We strive to reach beyond veterans and their families to assist anyone with physical disabilities and in need of a wheelchair ramp.”

“To date, we have installed over 125 ramps and also recycled over 125 ramps in 39 states for veterans, their families, or anyone with mobility issues who have exhausted all other resources.”

Operation Ramp It Up aims to help those in need who have exhausted all other resources for help.

Wheelchair ramps allow veterans and others with physical disabilities to continue to stay in their homes by adapting their homes and lifestyle in order to maintain independence.

The organization works with volunteers, donors and contractors to help veterans and others live more fulfilling lives with access.

Free ramp installation takes approximately 6 hours. Ramps are aluminum and sustainable.
If ramps are no longer required, they can be disassembled, removed, transported and reused at another location.

The UPS Foundation focuses on using employee’s skills along with the company’s logistics expertise, transportation, and charitable donations to make a measurable difference in society.
