"The $32-million NoHo Senior Arts Colony is intended for residents age 62 and over with interests in such artistic pursuits as singing, acting, photography and writing. Free classes in the arts will be offered, and the complex will include a 78-seat theater operated by the Road Theatre Co."

The North Hollywood (NoHo) Senior Arts Colony is a senior residence apartment community for active senior artists. Seniors who are interested in the performing arts, visual arts, film and other arts are able to share an apartment-housing complex with other seniors who have a passion for the arts. The motto of the program is Active Living in Place for seniors.
The North Hollywood (NoHo) Senior Arts Colony provides art-inspiring amenities for seniors such as an in house professional performing arts theatre (The Colony Road Theatre Company) along with an independent movie theatre, and art supply stores nearby.
Senior learning and educational classes take place on the NoHo Senior Arts Colony campus through the 'EngAGE' Program. The EngAGE Senior Learning Program takes a person-centered and whole-person approach to creative and healthy aging by teaching senior arts along with wellness, lifelong learning, community building and intergenerational programs. Senior art classes are taught by college-level professionals.
Senior art classes available include: writing, acting, performance arts, visual arts, digital and more.
The onsite Colony Road Theatre Company provides further senior theater opportunities by way of writing plays, acting or theater production.
The 126 unit senior arts complex offers affordable senior housing along with regular rental units in both one and two-bedroom options. Other housing amenity options include:
