The purpose of the “Burbank Senior Artists Colony” Program is for seniors to be given the opportunity of living in apartment housing within an artistic community, and the tools to engage in senior theater, senior art, exploration and education.
The “Burbank Senior Artists Colony” Program is a senior living community surrounded by an art inspired environment with access to live entertainment in the performance art theater, and creating art in on-site art studios. Lifelong Learning programs include writing classes such as Poetry In Motion, Computer Class and Anti-Aging exercise classes.
Senior learning and educational classes take place on the Burbank Senior Arts Colony campus through the “EngAGE” Program. The “EngAGE Senior Learning” Program takes a person-centered and whole-person approach to creative and healthy aging by teaching senior arts along with wellness, lifelong learning, community building and intergenerational programs. Senior art classes are taught by college-level professionals. Senior art classes available include writing, acting, performance arts, visual arts, digital and more.
The senior arts complex offers rental units in both one and two-bedroom options. Other housing amenity options include:
