Program Description
“Menorah Housing Foundation is much more than just a housing developer we really are trying to create a community for senior residents, we use Menorah Foundation funds to pay for activities to pay for programs to pay for social workers, we help people get access to senior centers and really we try to make it a fun place to be and what you realize when you go to different buildings where the people live they love where they live I love.”

Menorah Housing Foundation manages over one thousand apartments throughout Los Angeles County.
The foundation provides senior housing which would otherwise unaffordable to older adults in the local housing market.
The foundation provides outreach and tenant services to the area's population and creates a socially vibrant community for building residents.
A service coordinator helps supports residents with case management, locating support services, navigating Medicare, Medi-Cal, Dept. of Public Social Services, and Social Security benefits, finding a caregiver, transportation services, social connections to friendly visitor programs, senior centers, and adult day health programs, referrals to mental health services, Advance Health Care Directive, Power of Attorney, accessing home delivered meals, and pantry programs, crisis intervention eviction prevention, advocating to service providers and more.
Menorah Housing apartments are subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
