Program Description
"You sense yiddishkeit as soon as you walk in. Our uniquely comforting Jewish environment caters to the spiritual needs and cultural preferences of Jewish residents regardless of their level of observance. All three of our facilities center around Jewish activities and weekly Shabbat services, as well as holiday and life cycle celebrations. All meals served are certified as kosher, while our independent-living residents may enjoy non-kosher foods in their own apartments."

The Jewish Home and Care Center offers senior housing, skilled rehabilitation, long-term nursing care and respite care.
'Chai Point' offers independent senior living housing and assisted living apartments.
Residents living in Senior Apartments have the option to purchase nursing assistance and other services.
The 'Sarah Chudnow Community' is a senior living housing community with its own on-site administrator and support staff and full skilled nursing care.
Spiritual services include Daily and Shabbat in the onsite Synagogue. Seniors can observe holidays, religious services and celebrations such as Seders, Chanukah, Purim, Sukkot and life cycle celebrations. Religious services are also held for non Jewish residents.
All meals served are certified as kosher.
The Jewish Home and Care Center Foundation also provides senior services through the following:
'Lakeside Senior Enrichment Program' which offers kosher noon meals, wellness programs and fun activities to seniors living in the community. Daily events include lectures, music, discussion groups and exercise classes. As a certified provider of PACE (People with Arthritis Can Exercise) classes, the center offers opportunities for participants to maintain or improve their functional abilities.
'Adult Day Center' which provides a safe, secure, social and recreational program for seniors who need more care during the day.
The goal of the Jewish Home and Care Center Foundation is to provide the Jewish Community with those services that enable seniors to be a part of a quality Jewish environment with comfort, meaning, independence and dignity.
