Program Description
" 'We can help intervene before things become an emergency or urgent,' said Rebecca Conant, MD, medical director of the UCSF Housecalls program. 'In the home we can diagnose and treat many chronic illnesses because we can proactively adjust medication, monitor a patient's condition, and often eliminate a need for an emergency room visit or even a hospitalization.' "

The Housecalls Program for Seniors accepts Medicare, Medi-Cal and supplemental insurance coverage.
