Caregivers listed on the website are not employees of CareLinx but independent contractors who work independently to schedule their own hours.

Families or others who hire a caregiver can:

• Receive updates on their loved one’s daily activities and care on a smartphone.
• Coordinate daily tasks and reminders with a caregiver using a personalized
  online Care Plan (which includes what tasks need to be done, how they should be done and other specific details relating to a loved one’s care.)
• Chat with a caregiver or share photos in real-time with instant messaging.
• Complete online payments for wages, payroll taxes (social security, Medicare and unemployment taxes, W2)  and look up invoicing. CareLinx provides tax preparation services for a fee.
• Arrange for rides for medical appointments or errands.

CareLinx provides online support and assistance for any issues users may have through the website.

CareLinx also works with health plans, organizations and skilled nursing facilities to help them manage private duty in-home care, reduce possible readmissions and emergency department visits and serve to detect early interventions.
