Program Description
“An older woman confided in a Bridger that she feared homelessness after losing both her job and her rental home due to the pandemic. She welcomed our guidance on how to find food pantries and file for unemployment through the state’s covid19.ca.gov website.”

Volunteers make check-in calls to seniors and are able to connect them to essential resources to help with meal delivery, food insecurity, housing insecurity, healthcare, mental health and COVID-19 testing.
The Social Bridging Project is a public health and safety outreach campaign which also provides additional help with natural disasters such as wildfires.
