LiveHealth is a mobile and web service connecting doctors with patients for live, on-demand video visits over the internet and handles all the administration, security, and record keeping.
Video visits using LiveHealth Online are a covered benefit for most Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, Empire Blue Cross and Empire Blue Cross Blue and Shield health plans and doctors on LiveHealth Online are in-network providers.
Doctor visits which take place through online video offer a convenient alternative to non-emergency medical care and behavioral health support from home, work or while travelling.
Live, on-demand doctor video visits with healthcare providers can remove the hassle of waiting for an appointment, and arranging transportation to a doctor’s office.
Doctors have access to patient history, referrals, and prescriptions. Prescriptions may be sent directly to a patient’s pharmacy of and a summary of the visit can be forwarded to a primary care doctor.
LiveHealth Online allows patients to access doctors and therapists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays through the website or the LiveHealth Online mobile app.
