Program Description

"Jess Bloomgarden… is building the TurboTax for death. She wants to make it as easy to prepare yourself and your children for your eventual death as TurboTax did for personal tax preparation...So she started AfterSteps to 'bring organization, completeness, and knowledge to the end-of-life planning process.' AfterSteps provides a step-by-step way for users to create their complete end-of-life plan. It also reminds users periodically and notifies them of changes in laws and their personal situations that might require them to update that plan. AfterSteps securely stores the plan and related documents, and transfers them 'to the designated family members after the user passes.' "
