Program Description
Developing countries in Africa, Asia, South Pacific, South East Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe have taken part in the "Hospice and Palliative Care Traveling Scholarship" Program.
The aim of the "International Association for Hospice & Palliative Care" organization is to collaborate and work to improve the quality of life of patients with advanced life-threatening conditions and their families, by advancing hospice and palliative care programs, education, research, and favorable policies around the world.
The organization
facilitates and provided palliative care education and training opportunities for care providers and is an information resource for professionals, health care providers and policy makers.
