Program Description

The "Palliative and End-of-life Care Training for Caregivers" Program curriculum covers end of life issues including how caregivers can navigate the complex health care system.

Palliative care training is designed to be taught by nurses, social workers, patient advocates and educators.

Materials for the "Navigating the Healthcare System Workshop" include a participant's handbook that consists of modules for people who are living with cancer and their family caregivers, a trainer's guide for workshop instructors, and topic-specific brochures for patients and family caregivers.
