SENIORS HELPING SENIORS PROGRAM
Locations across the USA.
Program Description
"Our in-home care feels less like a service and more like getting a little help from your friends. Our caregivers are compassionate fellow seniors who are carefully matched to your specific needs, personality, and preferences."
-seniorshelpingseniors.com
Seniors who can benefit from free in-home care from another senior are those who:
-Have a physical disability or need mobility assistance
-Have difficulty keeping up with the daily chores such as house cleaning, cooking, handyman repairs, gardening, shoveling, other home maintenance
-Need assistance with doctor appointments, medication reminders or other errands such as grocery shopping
-Would like to go on outings or trips
-Could benefit from extra socialization and friendship
Seniors who are providing in-home care and assistance to other seniors can benefit by:
-Modestly supplementing their income
-Companionship and friendship
-Contributing and being actively involved in their community
The Seniors Helping Seniors Program does not require a specific time commitment for seniors to help and is designed so that seniors who sign up to help can earn extra income (modestly supplement their income) and be provided with a sense of satisfaction and involvement in the community.
The Seniors Helping Seniors Program companions are available to help 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
The concept of seniors for seniors helps both the giver and the receiver in multiple ways.
