The Adult Guardianship Family Caregiver Mediation Training Program is for
experienced mediators who would like to gain skills in how to deal with adult guardianship disputes or when there is a family conflict over who should take care of mom or dad or an elderly relative.
The Adult Guardianship Family Caregiver Mediation Training Program is also of value to judges, court administrators, and others considering or involved in establishing adult guardianship or conservatorship mediation programs in their states or local jurisdictions.
The Center for Social Gerontology has also produced a video entitled Adult Guardianship Mediation: An Introduction which presents a demonstration of a guardianship mediation.
The Center for Social Gerontology conduct research on aging related issues, educates public policy makers on issues affecting older Americans and conducts training for professionals in aging.
