TRAILBLAZERS IN AGING AWARDS
Program Description
The Trailblazers in Aging Awards include the following categories:
Innovator Award - to recognize an individual or organization that has created innovative solutions to improve the health and economic security of older adults in the community.
Change Agent Award – to recognize an individual or organization working to ensure that every person regardless of race, income, or background has the resources to age well.
Public Private Partnership Award – to recognize organizations that partner between the public and private sectors to help the population to age well.
NISC Founders Award - to recognize exemplary and long-standing service to the senior center field.
Exceptional Service Award - to recognize individuals or organizations that go above and beyond to deliver timely and life-saving services to older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Distinguished Service Award – to recognize National Council on Aging employees and volunteers who have made major contributions the organization’s mission of improving the lives of older adults.
