The Alliance for Aging Research advocates for issues that affect older adults such as:
- Older Adults in the Workforce.
- Fall Prevention.
- Family Caregiving.
- Mental Health in Older Adults.
- The Older Americans Act.
- Healthcare Reform.
- Veterans Administration related issues.
- Center for Medicare and Medicaid related issues.
The alliance supports various health programs, activities and aging related research videos to increase awareness and encourage action from to policymakers on issues that affect older adults.
The Alliance for Aging Research founded the Senior Patient and Family Caregiver Network which encourages older adults and caregivers to take on advisory, research, policy, and health education roles to further the goals of the alliance.
