Within My Walls is a series of elder abuse prevention training videos to educate and increase awareness of elder abuse.
Topics covered include:
- Different types of elder abuse within family relationships and relationships of trust.
- Stigma about accepting help for elder abuse outside the family.
- Not knowing where to go for help if someone is a victim of elder abuse.
- Increased dependency on adult children.
The Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria provides educational presentations to communities to help increase awareness of elder abuse.
