Program Description
Mark Shuey an expert in tae kwon do and hapkido is the founder of Cane Masters and trains others to spread the Cane-Fu Program.
Cane fighting or Cane-Fu, is taught in assisted living facilities, senior centers and health and fitness clubs as a way to prevent elder abuse.
The self defense technique has several accredited locations and trainers and has been endorsed by other martial-arts organizations.
Seniors are able to view the cane as a form of defense and abuse prevention rather than a crutch.
Cane-Fu can also serve as a part of an older adults fitness routine.
