Program Description
Two "Doorstep Doctor" programs are available:
A preventive in-home health care assistance plan for relatively healthy senior parents who need help with common old-age related ailments and guidance on illness prevention.
The second program is an in-home care assistance plan for seniors who have chronic ailments like diabetes, high blood pressure and arthritis.
Both programs include Doctor house call visits, Doctor phone calls and emergency assistance and lab tests.
The cost ranges from $550 - $800 USD.
Adult children living abroad also referred to as NRI (non-resident Indians) are able to obtain electronic access to their parent’s medical reports and records.
*This is an important feature of the program, as it can prove difficult communicating an isolated elderly person’s health status from India to the United States.
