"The Silver Paws Program connects mature pet lovers with homeless mature pets. The program covers the cost of veterinary care, food and supplies for the foster pets, alleviating the financial concerns that are common."

The "Silver Paws" Program pays for the cost of an elderly persons' foster pet offering seniors free veterinary pet care, free oet food and supplies.
Elderly who are looking for a pet should be in position to foster a pet for a minimum of one month. Foster parents attend orientations and trainings with other seniors who are ready to foster.
A home visit is conducted with a foster care coordinator along with regular foster parent training.
"Silver Paws" is supported by donations and fundraising events.
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends, Inc. (AARF) is an animal rescue organization in Georgia that works to help abandoned, abused and stray animals find new, loving homes.
