Program Description
Volunteers go to senior's homes to educate, identify and gather household hazardous waste, promoting senior safety at home.
The "Heart of the Valley, Services for Seniors" trains volunteers to pick up household hazardous waste and dispose of items to designated recycling sites.
Volunteers are trained to educate and help seniors identify expired and hazardous products in their homes.
The organization, "Heart of the Valley" assists seniors on the principle of small town values of, neighborhood, community, respect and caring.
