Program Description
“Lifeline is the FCC's program to help make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. Lifeline provides subscribers a discount on qualifying monthly telephone service, broadband Internet service, or bundled voice-broadband packages purchased from participating wireline or wireless providers. The discount helps ensure that low-income consumers can afford 21st century broadband and the access it provides to jobs, healthcare, and educational resources.”

enTouch Wireless offers seniors and others who qualify for the for the Federal Government Lifeline Program by the Federal Communications Commission help to pay for phone and internet service.
Free cell phone for seniors and services are granted on either an income-based eligibility at 135% below the poverty line or on program-based eligibility such as participation in the following approved government programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), CalFresh, Food Stamps
- Medicaid/Medi-Cal
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
- Healthy Families Category A
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
