"ELECTRONIC CAREGIVER"
Available across the USA.
Program Description
"At LifeSupport Medical, we understand that providing emergency response and medication compliance services are only half of the strategy when it comes to keeping seniors, people with disabilities, and the ill safe and independent in their homes – for longer. Environmental hazards within the home also pose a serious risk to health and safety. We've got you covered."
"The Electronic Caregiver offers a comprehensive solution to those who live at home but suffer from mobility issues related to age, injury or illness. The Electronic Caregiver offers a four-step fall protection strategy, which includes a submersible emergency button worn on the wrist, multiple medical alert buttons in common fall locations, an auto-fall detector with automatic signaling and an inactivity sensor in the case of non-movement."

The ‘Electronic Caregiver’ senior safety system includes:
-A Master Control Unit that allows for hands-free two way communication with emergency response.
-Oversized medical alarm buttons which can be placed anywhere in the home and are directly connected to emergency response teams such as police, fire and 911.
-A waterproof, lightweight bracelet that seniors wear around their wrist.
-An inactivity sensor/ detector that is programmed to detect a senior’s normal movement routine throughout the day. If movement is not detected there is a possibility of a fall or accident and emergency response or the elderly persons contacts are notified.
-A monitored flood sensor/detector to alert when running water has flooded the kitchen, bathroom, or another area.
-Monitored carbon monoxide and smoke detectors to alert fire authorities when needed.
In addition to seniors and caregeivers, the ‘Electronic Caregiver’ is also available to:
Hospitals that may wish to provide elderly patients who are being discharged and returning home with the personal medical alert and home safety monitoring system. Many hospitals have an interest and obligation in reducing patient re-admission.
Independent living and Nursing Care Homes so that they can have the added security of keeping senior residents safe, especially at times when senior residents are unsupervised.
