DENTAL LIFELINE NETWORK
Based in Denver, Colorado. Services available across the USA.
Program Description
“According to the American Dental Association’s Health Policy Institute, 60 percent of elderly people in the U.S. do not have access to dental care. Lack of dental care can lead to the inability to have a life-saving surgery, eat again or contribute to our community. For many of these people—volunteer dental professionals are their only hope.”

The Dental Lifeline Network’s Donated Dental Services program provides the elderly with free dental care with the help of volunteer dentists, labs and dental suppliers.
Elderly who do not have access to dental care may apply online and are asked to provide medical, dental, financial information such as financial assistance, and household expenses.
Program Coordinators screen and match elderly patients with dentists and make arrangements for lab and other dental supplies as needed.
The Dental Lifeline Network also provides dental coverage in Colorado through the Dental HouseCalls program’s portable dental van. The HouseCalls program services residents of nursing care homes, senior daycare programs, those living in residential centers, homebound elderly, and those with developmental disabilities.
The program encourages dentists and labs to volunteer their time, make a difference, give back to their community, and change a life through the ‘Will You See One’ campaign.
