CHA helps seniors and others learn about their health care benefit options in more than 10 languages and has access to more than 170 languages through a translation service.
The Community Service Society of New York also houses the “Retired and Senior Volunteer Program” (RSVP) providing senior volunteer opportunities that match skilled older adult volunteers with programs and services. Senior volunteer opportunities range widely and may include teaching a class, to advocating for a cause such as senior hunger, or helping individuals with their finances.
The Community Service Society of New York works to help low-income New Yorkers by addressing the root causes of economic disparity through research, advocacy, litigation, and other innovative programs.
