Program Description

The "Patient Education and Caring: End-of-Life (PEACE) Series" Program was developed by a group of physicians and patient advocates.

Brochures are available in print and online and advance health care and end of life topics include:

-Living with a Serious Illness: Talking with Your Doctor When the Future is Uncertain
-When You Have Pain at the End of Life
-Making Medical Decisions for a Loved One at the End of Life


An additional resource by the "American College of Physicians" entitled "Home Care Guide for Advanced Cancer," covers end of life and hospice training such as:

-Dying Person's Guide to Dying
-How To Help During the Final Weeks of Life
-What To Do Before and After the Moment of Death
-Helping Younger People Cope with Death and Funerals
-Grieving
