Program Description
"If Luminate has one message, it’s that creativity has no age. Come and join us as we explore what ageing means to all of us. There are many different ways to get together to celebrate creativity - it could be with dance, drama, music, visual arts, storytelling, photography, crafts or outreach events.
Whatever your age and wherever you are, there will be something for you in this year's program."

The Aging Festival is comprised of:
- Art workshops
- Dance classes
- Music performances
- Author events
- Outreach activities at theatres, galleries, community halls, care homes, lunch clubs, and online events.
Topics range from art, music, technology, poetry, crafts, film, documentaries, photography, storytelling and more.
The Luminate Photography Challenge asked the public to take a photographic portrait of someone from a different generation. Portraits were displayed in pop-up exhibitions.
Luminate includes new work, collaborations and international projects along with independently-run projects led by a wide range of cultural and community organizations.
The festival accepts project proposals annually for inclusion in the festival.
