Program Description
The Ontario Provincial Police Seniors Assistance Program helps fight elder abuse by providing information on:
- Senior Telephone Scams
- Senior Home Improvement Scams
- Senior Identity Theft
- Power of Attorney
- Senior Home Safety
- Senior Driving Safety
- Elder Abuse
The Ontario Provincial Police Seniors Assistance Program provides seniors with a helpful resource guide called 'Living Well Aging Well' which covers the following safety tips for seniors including warning signs of elder abuse, common scams and crimes against the elderly such as the emergency scam, the prize scam, the service scam, and the romance scam.
