Program Description
The McDonough Senior Police Academy is made up of class lessons and concludes with a graduation.
Topics covered include: drug activity awareness, police dogs, scams, financial exploitation and reporting crimes to the police. The goal is to use the valuable skills and resources of seniors to help make the community a safer place to live not only for seniors but for all citizens.
The Senior Academy is free and open to area senior citizens.
