ARTS ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM

WHATThose with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, and their dementia caregivers attend symphony concerts together.

Program Description

The Arts Engagement Program works with the Phoenix Art Museum, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and The Phoenix Symphony so that those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, and their dementia caregivers may attend symphony concerts together.

The Arts Engagement Program can be used as a music therapy program for those with dementia as well as a socialization activity.

There is a fee for participation and participants are strongly encouraged to attend all programs in a series to obtain the full benefits of the program.
