Program Description
GRIOT Circle is an intergenerational culturally diverse community based organization serving the needs of the community of LGBT - lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender - seniors of color.
It is a safe supportive space, free of discrimination based on age, gender, race, sexuality, spirituality and ethnic origin.
GRIOT Circle provides a therapy solution to the isolation that Gay seniors of color may feel and promotes mental health and elderly depression prevention.
Griot Circle also provides
free HIV testing.
GRIOT Circle is an intergenerational culturally diverse community based organization serving the needs of the community of lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender elders of color over the age of fifty. Although Griot Circle's policies are exclusive, everyone is welcome.
