Program Description
"We provide information and referral services to callers who do not know where to turn for help, whether it is for a neighbor, a client, a relative or for themselves. KC Connect SENIORS can connect you to the appropriate agency through a conference call. This way, we can make sure you receive prompt and easy access to services you need."

KC Connect SENIORS Hotline can connect callers to the appropriate agency through a conference call to ensure that seniors and others receive the help and support services they need.
The KC Connect SENIORS Hotline helps individuals in the community, seniors and their caregivers, long-distance caregivers, senior service agencies, community organizations and others who need information and referral services
Examples of senior referrals services and support services include connecting callers to:
-Protective services hotlines
-Caregiver information
-Tax rebate assistance
-Home-delivered meals
-Homemakers
-In-Home care and Respite care
-Much more
Examples of questions that the KC Connect SENIORS Hotline could assist with include:
“My elderly father needs to get out of the house and do something. Where can he go?”
“I need transportation to the doctor’s office. Who can help?”
“I think my neighbor has abused his elderly mother. What should I do?”
“My mother wants to file for her tax rebate. Where does she go?”
The Department of Aging Services is under the Mid-America Regional Council and provides senior services for Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri.
