Program Description
The Council on Social Work Education Gero-Ed Center provides social work students education and training in the role of Social Worker for Elder Care that promotes individual, family, and community well-being, and social and economic justice.
The Council on Social Work Education Gero-Ed Center has published a Guide for Gero Social Work Practice, a comprehensive guide which helps social workers to address the unique social and emotional needs for older adults.
